Fair Folks & a Goat in Carnegie Hill

Please join on us on Wednesday, July 21st for a talk by our newest artist, Crystal Gregory. We will be open for a preview at 6pm. The talk begins at 7pm and will be followed by a reception.

If you can't make it Wednesday evening, come meet Crystal and see her work over the weekend, during our regular gallery hours. Selections from the show will remain in our permanent installation.

Crystal is a New York-based, multi-media artist, known both for installation work and wall and table-top sculpture. The pieces on view will include her dry wall panels, delicately incised with lace patterning, and industrial bricks covered with hand-worked crochet. Gregory’s contrasting materials reflect the dichotomies she explores in her work: domestic interiors and architectural exteriors, nostalgia and modernity, fragility and strength, and femininity and masculinity.
