International Women Artists' Salon is thrilled to announce the start up of our first local salon outside of our founding city of New York.

International Women Artists' Salon now has over 125 members hailing from all areas of the world.

Any woman artist of any discipline*, any stage of creative career and background, any age, any location around the world is welcome to join International Women Artists' Salon by contacting Heidi Russell at heidirussellpublicist@gmail.com. If you are interested in forming a local salon that is connected with International Women Artists' Salon, please contact Heidi. About the Salon

The International Women Artists' Salon is a cross-disciplinary, cross-cultural organization of women making art in the world today. Our aim is to bring art by women to the fore of the art world and local communities through exhibitions and events, exchanges, regular salon style gatherings, and an online forum for members and interested parties.

Our shared vision is to create a community of individuals and organizations with the resources and passion to gain critical visibility in the art world for women artists of all backgrounds and stages of career. Every member helps achieve our goal of building connections among artists, arts organizations, and the public. With your participation, there are unlimited possibilities!

Individual membership to International Women Artists’ Salon is free and open to women artists around the world of all disciplines including but not limited to music, theater, dance, video, film, fiber arts, traditional arts & crafts, visual arts, digital, writing, comedy, and installation. From May 1-15, 2017, Kairos Italy Theater (KIT), the preeminent Italian theater company in New York, brings back to NY for 5th edition IN SCENA!, the first Italian theater festival to take place in all 5 NYC boroughs. This 15-day festival will offer 7 fully-staged productions from Italy, special events, readings, among other events and activities. All are presented in Italian and English or with English supertitles, curated by Kairos Italy Theater. The 2017 edition features shows bringing real stories about immigration (to and from Italy), the post WWII, discrimination of LGTB under the Nazi, among others. FORCE's mission is to improve the lives of families facing hereditary breast and ovarian cancer. Volunteers are the heart of FORCE and even though all volunteers give generously of their own time and knowledge to those following in their footsteps – planning and facilitating group meetings and providing one-on-one support to members – it still takes money to run a non-profit organization.
