Artist Statement:
My creative process starts with my own observations and my life experiences.  I keep an open mind to understand the various cultures and behaviors of people.  For this reason my work goes through different stages, but always keeping the emphasis in color and textures.  I work in mixed media, acrylics and fiber art; I feel passionate about the line and play with it, working with material like paper, burlap, wire mesh, etc.  I collect different materials and in choosing them I have to ensure they relate to each other on the canvas. It’s about the rational and the random melting together.
