More than a dozen New York-based performers from across the globe will pay homage to inspirational women from their homelands on International Women’s Day on Friday March 8th from 9pm.
International Women Artists' Salon, in collaboration with Art Boundaries Unlimited (ABU), is presenting the second annual Salon sYmphoNY to give new voice to celebrated artists from countries of origin in honor of the annual homage to women.
Monologues, poems and even songs from countries from Scotland to Sierra Leone will pay tribute to the legacy of cultural riches created by women around the world and sustained today by the women and the city of New York.
Downtown arts incubator, Dixon Place, will host this FREE event from 9-11pm in their Lounge space and invite people to enjoy their convivial bar as they are inspired by great women artists from history and the here and now.
